Meet Sebastián:

Sebastián is a lawyer focused on personal data protection, corporate compliance, and risk management. He has extensive experience advising companies on the implementation of preventive frameworks aimed at mitigating regulatory and sanction-related contingencies.

His practice centers on the application of the Organic Law on Personal Data Protection (LOPDP for its name in Spanish), its related regulation, and international standards such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). He provides guidance on regulatory compliance processes, the structuring of compliance programs, and risk analysis in personal data processing.

He excels in design and implementation of compliance models across various sectors, including insurance, healthcare, fintech, and retail. He actively participates in the development of risk matrices, regulatory analysis, and compliance documentation under an accountability-based approach. He has been involved in data protection impact assessment processes, as well as in identifying regulatory gaps and defining corrective measures.

In his professional practice, he combines a strong legal foundation with an operation perspective focused on the effective development of practical solutions within organizations.

He has also participated in handling regulatory requirements, including legal documents and procedural strategies drafting, in a complementary role to his main practice.
