Meet Jorge:

Jorge has worked for both companies as a General Counsel and law firms as an associate in order to fully understand the needs of the client through constant updating and training, to keep up with the legal and technological innovation of the practice area.

Within his experience, he has participated in audits of companies that include legal legitimacy, review of contracts, evaluation of compliance and risks that may exist within them, in order to find the formula that avoids possible sanctions by the competent authorities.

He also has experience in reviewing codes of conduct and internal regulations of national and international companies to determine the feasibility of using or reforming such documents through reports.

Jorge has provided personalized advice on the protection of personal data for different companies in the pharmaceutical, food, health and marketing of movable goods sectors, including legitimization of processing, identification of joint responsibility or assignment of personal data, feasibility of data transfers, need for a data protection officer, among others.

He knows the software tools necessary to carry out an impact assessment on the protection of personal data.

Finally, he is qualified to implement regulatory and privacy compliance programs in companies of all sizes, both locally and internationally.
