Ismael Vallejo

Meet Ismael:

Ismael has served as a semi-senior consultant in the legal and tax area of Tributum Consultores Cía. Ltda, for 5 years.  He has focused his skills and knowledge in the field of tax law and has provided his services as legal counsel in law firm   Puente & Asociados, developing in the areas of corporate, labor and judicial representation in civil and administrative proceedings.

He has specialized in the legal advice of tax litigation and administrative processes and legal consultancy for companies and public and private organizations.

Additionally, Ismael collaborates as an expert in tax law for the country’s main newspapers, such as El Universo and Primicias.

Experiencia

• Within the public sector, he has collaborated as a consultant in the development of regulations for the Ministry of Tourism, in the preparation of the Tourism Operation and Intermediation Regulations, a process that took several months and involved the coordination of the different guilds with the tourism authority and the preparation of the regulatory text, with its respective technical and legal basis.

• He provided his services within the consulting team in several projects for the Decentralized Autonomous Governments (GAD’s), such as the development of a guide on the application of sectional regulations.

• He served as a legal advisor within the General Secretariat of the Metropolitan Council of Quito, where he collaborated as Coordinator of the Land Use Commission, Secretary of the Legislation and Codification Commission, as well as in the development of technical-legal reports and metropolitan regulations.
