Meet Andrea:
Andrea has been part of AVL Abogados since 2014, leading the Public Procurement and Corporate Law departments of the firm.
She has more than 25 years of experience in the private practice of the profession and has formed legal management teams in several national and foreign companies.
She has been part of teams advising and assisting in financing, mergers and acquisitions, leading teams in due diligence processes and closing contracts and guarantees, between national and foreign companies in the execution of projects.
In the private sector, she has worked as an in-house lawyer for companies in the healthcare equipment, telecommunications, and real estate industries, among others. She has provided her professional services as General Counsel to consulting firms supplying the State, as well as to Israeli telecommunications and equipment companies involved in national security projects, investment managers in the construction of landmark projects, the oil industry, and strategic sectors.
Andrea has advised clients in all branches of industry and corporate matters, negotiating and participating in public procurement processes, including processes classified as reserved for the internal and external security of the country, as well as in contracting projects that have international financing from multilaterals, international organizations or with intergovernmental credits.
In the public sector, she has served as office advisor to the Presidency of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank (BCE), Legal Director and representative of the Ministry of Economy and Finance to the Board of Directors of the AGD No More Impunity CFN Trust, leading the public procurement team, corporate optimization of private companies and matters related to the payment of debts. under tax regulations.
In recent years, she has provided legal advice to the private sector on corporate governance optimization processes, compliance programs, real estate management, public procurement from a government perspective, administrative law, public service, control and oversight regulations, sponsoring defense in special audits conducted by the Office of the Comptroller General of the State (CGE); and territorial development projects under electrical regulations.
In addition, she is accredited as a Mediator by the Judicial Council and holds a master’s degree in Negotiation, Mediation, and Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms from Carlos III University (Madrid, Spain). As a result, she has participated in complex negotiation processes and has extensive experience in negotiating and resolving civil and administrative disputes, particularly contractual and non-contractual claims arising from commercial transactions.
