Meet Tania:

Tania has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), having been part of significant cross-border and domestic transactions. She has conducted and led several due diligence processes, drafted and negotiated SPAs, SHAs, JVs, APAs to make such transactions viable.

On the other hand, she advises national and multinational companies on their proper operation and functioning, with a special focus on preventive advice and compliance with legal obligations.

Her knowledge of the corporate environment is recognized in the execution of corporate acts, shareholders’ agreements and obtaining operating permits in highly regulated sectors.

Experience

Tania has 10 years of experience in M&A where she has been part of important cross-border and national transactions. She has conducted and led several due diligence processes, created SPAs, SHAs, JVs, APAs and successfully negotiated them. The amounts of each transaction exceed 10 million dollars.

  • She recently advised on the acquisition of a major electricity generation company.

  • She participated in the advice of the acquisition of an important company of transportation of securities and private security.

  • Advising on the acquisition of 2 cold cuts and frozen meat production companies.

  • Advising a global private equity firm in the acquisition of one of the most important packaging, labels, and coatings companies in Ecuador.

  • Advising on the acquisition of a technology intermediary for the sale of automobiles.

On the other hand, she continuously provides legal advice to national and multinational companies for their proper day-to-day operation and functioning, with a special focus on preventive labor advice, contractual matters, and overall compliance with legal obligations specific to their business sector.

In the Corporate field, she has experience in the execution of corporate acts, shareholders’ agreements and obtaining operating permits in highly regulated sectors.
