Meet Paula:

During the years of practice, Paula has developed and acquired knowledge in corporate advice on corporate, labor, real estate and immigration matters. Her main focus is to accompany companies and individuals with the fulfillment of their obligations with the competent authority, control bodies and internally in each of the companies. Likewise, her advice is aimed at the regularization of migratory statuses of foreign citizens, who have the objective of settling in Ecuador.

Additionally, she has worked in the real estate sector, providing support to the team and clients with the drafting of various contracts, such as purchase agreements, the establishment of open and/or closed mortgages, assignment of fiduciary rights, etc.

Within the labor area, Paula has acquired experience in the drafting of both individual and collective employment contracts, the preparation and updating of Internal Labor Regulations and other internal regulations of companies, and currently, in the preparation, creation and implementation of the Equality Plan.

Her professional practice is especially focused on the areas of corporate and commercial law, providing extensive and complete advice to national and foreign companies in corporate processes, such as company incorporation, company transformation, domiciliation and cancellation of branches of foreign companies, mergers, capital increases and decreases, bylaws reform, among others.

Experience and strengths

• Paula stands out for exercising her professional career, with a sense of humanity and empathy, through advice built on relationships of honesty and respect with her colleagues and clients. Her knowledge and initiative to cover and learn different areas of practice have led her to face important professional challenges.

• Within corporate law, Paula has been able to find response mechanisms and solve problems that her clients face on a daily basis, internally in their companies, as well as with public institutions. Her practice as a lawyer in the corporate area stands out as a cornerstone for the management, control and development of small, medium and large companies.

• Through analysis and in-depth research, Paula assures the firm’s clients of timely and effective results. In labor matters, she has acquired essential skills related to legal knowledge and research skills for the drafting of documents, focused on meeting the needs that employers and employees need when implementing legal reforms or, in the face of contingents between the parties.

• The development and knowledge of the English language in migratory processes with foreign citizens who do not speak Spanish, and who come to Ecuador to hold management positions in companies dedicated to mining, insurance or banks have allowed him to communicate optimally, providing an effective service, in addition to establishing good communication with different public officials. This is how, in Immigration, she has found a way to provide peace of mind to foreigners who trust in her work and advice with delicate and important aspects so that their stay in the country begins and develops in accordance with the law.
